Health Reform Checklist for Small BusinessOver the next several years, nearly 250,000 more Connecticut residents will have improved access to health insurance. Even if you have not been able to afford health benefits in the past, the new tax credits may make that possible. New small business tax credits for providing health insurance to employees are available starting in 2010. Dependents under age 26 may be insured under their parent's plan on or after September 23, 2010. Notices will be sent to eligible dependents. Certain preventive services will be provided without cost-sharing for new plans started on or after September 23, 2010. |
